Dine and Fly for Haiti
Minnesota restaurants have long been known for serving some of the finest cuisine in the country. Now, the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota and Wisconsin restaurant community is coming together to serve the desperate needs of Haitian orphans who have lost everything. With a goal of raising $50,000, the "Dine and Fly for Haiti" program was recently developed to complete the building of an orphanage in Boucan, Haiti and provide critical support for food and medical food.
To help in these efforts, a limited quantity of $25 and $50 gift certificates to more than 50 Minnesota and Wisconsin restaurants are available for purchase online. In addition to purchasing dining gift certificates, you will also have the opportunity to purchase a gift certificate from the Stillwater Balloon Company. For $245 per person, you will be able to experience the St. Croix Valley in an unforgettable hot air balloon ride. This is a golden opportunity to give an incredible Valentine’s Day gift while helping the poorest of the poor to rebuild their shattered country and broken lives. You are invited to purchase the donated gift certificates at the “Dine and Fly” fund-raising Web site.
All proceeds from the sale will go directly to Hope in the Light, a well established and respected organization with deep roots and strong relationships in Haiti. These proceeds will aid in completing the building of an orphanage and provide critical support for food and medical aid.
